I have written a number of articles and essays for literary journals, and I am also working on my first book, a historical novel. In September 2019 it won the Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize (Best Unpublished Manuscript). I have a particular interest in travel writing, memoir, family history, and extraordinary women.
